Controller

The interface between technology and user

The high-resolution touch display offers the user the highest technical comfort and a virtual keyboard that supports Latin, Asian, and Cyrillic characters. Menu and display functions are clearly structured, and the user interface is intuitive and simple. A graphical trend display quickly and clearly informs about the current process progress. Both password-protected user management and a stable and extensive data and event logbook make the system maximally reliable and secure.

A variety of optionally available interfaces ensure easy integration into almost any process environment. Additionally, the controller can be operated via a browser connection with a PC or tablet.

Controller variants

Type classProperties
Controller 40

The Controller 40 is used for the analysis of multicomponent systems (lye-salt-water, acid-salt-water), particularly in gas scrubbers and neutralization plants.

Controller 30

The Controller 30 is equipped with a powerful sensor interface. It can be coupled with up to 4 sensors, providing particularly cost-effective solutions for equipping multiple measurement points.

Controller 20

The Controller 20 is the economical variant. It has a reduced configuration compared to the Controller 30 and can be connected to a sensor via its digital interface.

Functions

Clear display

The main view of the controller provides a quick overview of the currently set product, its measured value, and the temperature of the liquid at the measuring point.
The limit value display on the left side of the display allows for quick detection of measurement deviations. If a limit value is exceeded, the pin displaying the current measured value changes color and appears red.

Trend display

The trend display of the current concentration, density, or temperature provides clear information and allows for easy process tracking.

Management of multiple product datasets

The controller can store product or parameter records for 32 products by default or optionally up to 99 products. Switching to another product is done via the selection menu. This allows the same device to be used for concentration or density measurement for different process fluids. The name of the product can be changed individually. It is conceivable to designate the liquid or the measuring point.

Calibration

The concentration calculation can be adapted to the process conditions via product-specific calibration. This is done with a user-friendly calibration menu.

User-friendly menu navigation

The controller offers a variety of parameters and functions. All parameters can be conveniently set via a 'tree structure' and menus.

Event logbook and alarm messages

The device has automatic self-monitoring. All alarm messages are displayed in plain text and stored in the event logbook. The event logbook can be read out or followed directly on the device. For example, it documents which user calibrated which product with which value at what time.

User management

System security is of high importance. The controller offers the possibility of user management. Multiple users with different user rights can be defined. This ensures that only certain people in the company can perform certain actions, such as calibrations.

SonicGraph®

The ultrasonic sensors allow with the option SonicGraph® the display of the ultrasonic reception signal. With this function, the measurement conditions can be observed very comfortably. SonicGraph® is extremely helpful in difficult measurement conditions such as polymerization tracking. But even in the presence of gas bubbles in the liquid, the sensor can be optimally adapted to the measurement task.

Multilingualism

The operation of the controller is possible in different languages and text input can be done in Latin, Asian, or Cyrillic characters.

Available languages:
German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Polish

Multi-measurement-point function

The Controller 30 offers the possibility to manage up to 4 sensors. Thus, measurement values can be displayed in the 2- or 4-sensor view for multiple measurement points.

Multi-component display

The Controller 40 enables the calculation and display of two independent concentrations in a 3-component mixture. Both physical quantities and concentrations can be displayed.

Controller accessories

The controller is designed for installation in control panels. Alternatively, it is available in a 19" 4U housing.

To enable field installation of the controller, field housings made of plastic, stainless steel, or for hazardous areas are available, optimally meeting local conditions.

Do you have any questions?

We are happy to advise you to solve your specific measurement task!

The controller forms the interface between sensor and operator. As an evaluation unit, the controller takes over the visualization of process data, manages the data sets for concentration calculation, and allows calibration and adjustment of measurement data.
