Sulfuric acid and chlorine gas drying
In the production, processing, and recovery of sulfuric acid, the immersion sensor 40-14 enables continuous concentration monitoring directly in the process. Sulfuric acid concentration can also be monitored in real time during chlorine gas drying. Different sensor materials and special materials are available for corrosive process conditions, allowing the sensor design to be adapted to the medium, concentration, and temperature.
Gas scrubbers and exhaust gas treatment
In process and emergency gas scrubbers, the immersion sensor 40-14 can be used for continuous monitoring of the scrubbing solution. Typical measured media include alkalis or acids, for example.
Real-time concentration measurement provides transparency about the condition of the scrubbing liquid and can be used for demand-based replenishment dosing as well as for stabilizing the scrubbing process.
Carbon capture and amine scrubbing
In carbon capture processes and other gas scrubbing processes, LiquiSonic® can be used for continuous monitoring of scrubbing solutions such as amine or alkali solutions.
The inline measurement provides current concentration values without delays caused by manual sampling and thereby supports stable conditions in absorption and regeneration circuits.
Chlor-alkali electrolysis and brine purification
In the chlor-alkali industry, the immersion sensor 40-14 is used, among other things, to monitor brine and process solutions. Continuous concentration measurement allows changes in the process to be detected immediately. For particularly corrosive media, the sensor can, for example, be made with suitable special materials such as titanium.
