Unnoticed leaks? We find them.
Undetected leaks in industrial plants pose a significant risk to the environment and operations. If foreign liquids enter the wastewater unnoticed, serious environmental damage can occur. In addition, there is a risk of official sanctions if contamination is not detected in a timely manner and appropriate measures are not initiated early enough. Such incidents can also have significant consequences for ongoing operations, as they cause operational interruptions and can severely disrupt existing processes. The LiquiSonic® Measuring system enables continuous monitoring of the wastewater and thus helps to detect critical changes at an early stage. Foreign liquids are detected immediately so that immediate intervention can be carried out before the situation reaches critical proportions. In this way, potential damage can be limited and undesirable consequences for the environment and companies can be avoided. On the right you can see a picture that schematically shows the monitoring of rainwater in the event of a leak.

How it works

LiquiSonic® uses high-precision sound velocity measurement to analyze the composition of water in collecting basins or wastewater streams. If foreign liquids enter the sewage system due to a leak, the system immediately detects this based on deviations in the speed of sound and then triggers an alarm.
-
Continuous real-time monitoring of wastewater for foreign liquids
-
Immediate alarm notifications for quick response and leak containment
-
Reliable, maintenance-free inline measurement – no laboratory analyzes required
-
Seamless integration into existing process control systems
Typical applications
Leaks and leaks can be detected early in many areas before dangerous substances enter the environment. For example, the monitoring of storage tanks can be used specifically to detect leaking media in a timely manner. The early identification of leaks in pipelines and systems also contributes to process reliability and helps to avoid expensive incidents. At the same time, continuous monitoring helps to comply with environmental regulations and avoid fines.
For continuous industrial use
The robust LiquiSonic®-Sensor is available in many different highly resistant materials and is therefore also suitable for use in acids, corrosive media and aggressive chemicals. Because the system has no moving parts or seals, it offers a long service life and is completely maintenance-free. The sensors can be installed directly in pipes, collecting basins or sewers. For maximum safety and efficiency, up to four measuring points can be monitored simultaneously with one controller.

Frequently asked questions
LiquiSonic® uses high-precision sound velocity measurement to analyze the composition of water in collection basins or wastewater streams. If foreign liquids enter the wastewater system due to a leak, the system detects these deviations in real time and triggers an alarm.
Continuous wastewater monitoring makes it possible to immediately detect foreign liquids and react quickly. This allows leaks to be contained before problems escalate. At the same time, laboratory analyzes are no longer necessary because the measurement is carried out reliably and maintenance-free directly in the process.
Yes, the robust LiquiSonic® Sensor is available in various highly resistant materials. This makes it suitable for use in acids, corrosive media and aggressive chemicals.
