Unnoticed leaks? We find them.
Undetected leaks in industrial plants pose a significant risk to the environment and operations. If foreign liquids escape unnoticed and, for example, enter the wastewater through subsequent rain, serious environmental damage can occur. In addition, regulatory sanctions may be imposed if contamination is not detected in time and appropriate measures are not initiated early enough. Such incidents can also have considerable consequences for ongoing operations, as they can cause shutdowns and significantly disrupt existing processes. The LiquiSonic® measurement system enables continuous monitoring of wastewater (rainwater) and thus helps to detect critical changes at an early stage. Foreign liquids are detected immediately so that action can be taken right away before the situation reaches critical proportions. In this way, potential damage can be limited and undesirable consequences for the environment and the company can be avoided. On the right, you can see an image schematically illustrating the monitoring of rainwater in the event of a leak.

How it works

LiquiSonic® uses highly precise sound velocity measurement to analyze the composition of water in containment basins or wastewater streams. If collected or draining rainwater mixes with foreign liquids due to a leak, the system immediately detects this based on deviations in sound velocity and then triggers an alarm.
-
Continuous real-time monitoring of rainwater for foreign liquids
-
Immediate alarms for rapid response and leak containment
-
Reliable, maintenance-free inline measurement – no laboratory analyses required
-
Seamless integration into existing process control systems
Typical applications
Leaks and leakages can be detected early in many areas before hazardous substances enter the environment. For example, the monitoring of storage tanks can be used specifically to detect escaping media in time. Early identification of leaks in pipelines and plants also contributes to process safety and helps avoid costly incidents. At the same time, continuous monitoring supports compliance with environmental regulations and helps avoid fines.
For continuous industrial use
The robust LiquiSonic®sensor is available in many different highly resistant materials and is therefore also suitable for use in acids, corrosive media, and aggressive chemicals. Since the system operates without moving parts or seals, it offers a long service life and is completely maintenance-free. The sensors can be installed directly in pipelines, containment basins, or wastewater channels. For maximum safety and efficiency, up to four measuring points can be monitored simultaneously with one controller.

Frequently asked questions
Continuous monitoring of draining rainwater makes it possible to detect foreign liquids immediately and respond quickly. This allows leaks to be contained before contaminated water enters the wastewater system and problems escalate. At the same time, laboratory analyses are unnecessary because the measurement is performed reliably and maintenance-free directly in the process.
