Measuring systems for concentration and density measurement of liquids
The LiquiSonic® Measuring systems enable inline concentration measurements of liquids. The measurement technology is capable of analyzing the components of mixtures and can provide information about concentration or density in real-time. The sensors are based on the principle of ultrasonic speed measurement. Therefore, they are almost maintenance-free and can reliably provide measurements even under demanding conditions.
The proportion of a specific liquid in a mixture of liquids can be determined very easily. Numerous variants and options of the sensors are available for different applications and installation conditions. We are happy to advise you on how the LiquiSonic® measuring system can solve your measurement task.
LiquiSonic® consists of up to four sensors and a controller. The connection between the devices is digital and guarantees high, drift-free measurement accuracy and interference-free data transmission over distances of up to 1,000 m. Interference from wiring or the complex recalibration during a sensor exchange is a thing of the past.
The ultrasonic measurement method can be used at temperatures between -100 °C and +200 °C or process pressures from a few mbar to 500 bar. The longevity, maintenance-free operation, and minimal effort for installation and operation of LiquiSonic® pay off – especially when you pursue the targeted, continuous improvement of your highly automated processes.
With LiquiSonic® multi-component measurements can also be performed – for example, the independent measurement of washing fluid and dissolved salt in gas scrubber applications or alcohol content and residual extract concentration in beer.
