Cooling circuit

Monitoring of oil circulation rate

Typical applications of inline concentration measurement with LiquiSonic®

  • Measurement of oil concentration in refrigerant for continuous monitoring of oil circulation rate (OCR)
  • Monitoring of refrigerant concentration in the coolant
  • Detection of product leaks in the climate control circuit
  • In air conditioning technology, the LiquiSonic® Technology plays to its strengths. Due to the chemical and physical properties of refrigerants like R134a or HFO1234yf, the speed of sound is ideal as a measurement method at temperatures down to -30°C - with the highest measurement accuracy, maintenance-free operation, and robustness. Installation in the climate circuit usually takes place between the condenser and expansion valve. As an inline analysis system for refrigerant applications, SensoTech offers the LiquiSonic system® OCR on.

Compression refrigeration machines are often used in air conditioning. In these, refrigerants like R134a or CO circulate.2. In addition, refrigeration machine oils are present in the refrigeration circuit to lubricate the compressor.
